Roadmap

How CollectionRadar will grow from here.

CollectionRadar is being built in focused steps, starting with the core collector workflow and expanding carefully as that foundation proves useful.

First priority

Cleaner collection records

Make it easier to organize what you already own without feeling buried in clutter.

First priority

Clearer provenance

Keep source, seller, and acquisition details attached to the item so important context is easier to preserve.

Early rollout

Favorites and goals

Help collectors keep standout pieces, future targets, and collecting priorities easier to track.

Early rollout

Show Finder

Help collectors keep gem, mineral, fossil, and meteorite shows easier to find and follow inside the CollectionRadar app.

Next layer

Alerts

Make it easier to notice nearby shows, trusted dealers, club activity, and other timely collecting updates without constant manual checking.

Next layer

Club Finder

Make it easier to discover mineral clubs and collecting communities that help people stay active in the hobby.

Next layer

Discovery

Help collectors discover more useful places, institutions, and experiences connected to the hobby over time.

Longer term

Dealer watchlist

Give collectors a better way to keep trusted dealers in view so nearby shows, useful alerts, and future seller activity are easier to notice without extra searching.

Longer term

Broader collectible support

Expand beyond the first specimen-focused launch into additional collectible categories while keeping the experience organized and collector-friendly.

Beyond the first launch

CollectionRadar is planned to grow well beyond specimen collecting.

After the first release for minerals, fossils, and meteorites, the platform is intended to expand into larger collectible categories while keeping the same emphasis on records, provenance, favorites, alerts, discovery, shows, and communities.

Antiques and artSupport collectors who care about long-term records, ownership details, and collection history.
Coins, stamps, and cardsBring stronger organization and provenance to categories where identification and acquisition details matter.
Memorabilia, comics, and toysExtend the same collector foundation into popular categories with large and active communities.

Why the roadmap starts with collector fundamentals

CollectionRadar is starting with the parts of collecting that already matter most to specimen collectors: strong records, clearer provenance, favorites, alerts, shows, discovery, and club connections. That focused start should make the first release more useful right away instead of spreading the first launch too thin.

From there, the same foundation can support broader collecting activity without losing the organization, clarity, and collector-friendly structure that make the product valuable in the first place.

How growth should feel to collectors

The roadmap should not feel cluttered with features. Each addition should help collectors revisit their collection, understand it more clearly, or connect it to real collecting activity.

That is why the order matters. Records, provenance, favorites, shows, alerts, discovery, clubs, and trusted dealers all support the same collector experience when they are added carefully and in the right sequence.
